La Belle Cachette was originally a farmhouse and is situated on the edge of the town so you're just a short stroll away from the heart of Surgeres, a lively market town with its mediaeval castle walls, chateau, excellent range of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, indoor and outdoor markets, cinema, sporting facilities and a railway station. You are also close to delightful open countryside, which makes it the perfect base for those wishing to explore the beautiful surroundings. Local Area DetailsLa Belle Cachette is a south facing house with 3/4 bedrooms for sleeping 6-8 people plus a baby (we can supply a cot and highchair), two bathrooms and central heating for year-round use and is newly equipped to a high standard.It is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac,approached through large wooden gates which open onto a sunny courtyard/parking area with access to the side entrance with completely walled garden and swimming pool 10mx5m with a Roman end, underwater lighting and a paved surround. The courtyard is ideal as a safe children's play area and boules pitch. There is a large covered terrace with built-in barbecue for al-fresco dining overlooking the garden and pool. Garden furniture is provided. The walled garden has an area of lawn, assorted shrubs, palms, with olive and a banana trees and atmospheric lighting.
