A new chalet in November 2003, Chalet Symphony is a privately owned and privately run luxury chalet in Morzine. The chalet is perfectly situated in a sunny / quiet location with stunning uninterrupted views over the valley and yet only a couple of minutes from the centre of town.
Built in the traditional style the chalet has been finished to the hightest standard.
There is plenty of parking and garden area for children to play safely.
The chalet has all usual modern conveniences (TV, DVD, video, stereo, microwave,fridge and freezer,BBQ).
We will be on hand to welcome you and assist at any time during the week.

Local Area Details

The local area is alive with activities for all ages. The river Dranse that flows into lake Geneva boasts rafting, kayaking, canyoning and fishing whilst the mountains offer a range of walks, mountian bike tracks, climbing and much more.
Within an hour and a half there are 10 golf courses to play all of an exceptional quality and very reasonably priced. Including the Royal park Evian where they play the ladies masters every year and mountain courses in Les Gets and Chamonix.
Every week there are festivals and special events going on in and around the local villages.

About Weather/Climate/Temperature

A typical mountain holiday climate. June-Sept is generally very warm but chilly in the evenings in Sept. A good idea to bring clothing for all possibilities however. Recently we have experienced very good weather in July and August.

About Bars

The area has numerous bars the more lively of which are in the town centre. These are busy and fun during the peak seasons. There are other quieter bars during this time for the real French experience and also some year round bars where the expat communities tend to enjoy a night out.

About General Entertainment

Lots to do so you won't get bored here. The area offers everything from rafting for kids and adults to high wire zip lines to the more sedate horse rides or full on trekking on very well looked after animals. If it is walking you are after there are many different routes you can take at all levels of fitness

About Golfing

A secret location with some wonderful golf courses. You can play the ladies masters course in Evian one day with great views over the Laks Geneva and the next be teeing off at 1500m altitude in Les Gets. All the courses are in excellent condition due to the annual climate and the cost of playign these will in no way ruin your holiday budget. A week spent playing here and ypu will start to wonder why you pay so much playing in Spain or Portugal.

About Fishing

Lots of wild difficult fishing. Either by bait spinning or fly you can spend many enjoyable hours tryign to lure soem of the mountain trout from the local rivers. Or you can try on lake Geneva for some of the enormous trout or Char. There are also many mountain lakes where you can get away from it all and take in the wonderful surroundings.

About Airport Information

Geneva airport is the closest being only 1 hour 15 mins away. It is best to hire a car for your stay here so you have full flexibility

About Scenery/Beauty Spots

All the local mountains are just wonderful. For nearby beauty spots you can go to Annecy or Yvoire. These are two beautiful medieval towns on the edge of the lakes. Chamonix is only 1 hour away fro a day trip to Mont Blanc and all its glaciers.

About Children Activities

Children have activities aimed at their level in rafting, high ropes courses, horse riding. Also the local swimming pool has a great kids area.
