Makaha is on the Wainaie coast, about 1 hour drive from Waikiki. Makaha Beach is a well known surfing beach, also great for swimming and snorkeling and diving. Golf courses and hiking in nearby Makaha Valley. Hawaiian Waters Adventure park is about 20 minutes away.
