Spirit Mountain Lodge & Cabins sits high on a mountain top surrounded by the Ozark National Forest with its endless beauty and countless breathtaking views. We have a 5000 sq ft Lodge which sleeps 18 guests. Our elegant spacious lodge features a 40 x 24 great room, two fireplaces, a 50 foot glass porch and dining area presenting a panoramic view of the Ozark mountains and meadows, full kitchen, laundry facilities, 8 bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths, satellite TV/VCR. The Lodge is perfect for retreats, confrences, small weddings, or family gatherings. We also have 7 other cabins which sleep from 2-10 guests. These individual cabins are each unique in their own way.

Located 18 miles north of Ozark on Scenic Highway 23, Spirit Mountain is situated on 250 acres of meadows and woods, providing a vast array of opportunities for recreation and relaxation-the perfect place to rejuvenate your body, refresh your mind, and renew your spirit.

You can hike, mountain bike, or ride your ATV or horse on over a 100 miles of forest trails and see the two natural waterfalls, one cascading 60 feet and the other edged with huge flat rocks inviting you to picnic, swim, wade, or bask in the sun. Hike sections of the 187-mile Ozark Highland Trail. We have 4 stocked mini-lakes which you can fish for catfish and bass or fish the nearby Shores Lake or the Mulberry River.

All accommodations are non-smoking with heat and air conditioning, kitchen facilities with all utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, phone, VCR, and Gas BBQ grill. They each have fire pits so that you can have campfires and roast marshmellows and hotdogs. Laundry facilities are available. You may bring your own food or catered food may be provided with advance notice.

Local Area Details

While at Spirit Mountain you can canoe the Mulberry River or swim and float in the swimming holes on the Mulberry River or in Shore's Lake. Stable or pasture your horse and enjoy riding the forest trails. Bring your ATV's or Mountain bikes and experience some of the best riding in Arkansas. Dine at several fine restaurants within 30 minutes of Spirit Mountain. Enjoy touring and wine-tasting featured at four Altus wineries just 35 minutes away. Go sightseeing or antiquing in historic Eureka Springs, Van Buren, or Fayetteville- less than one hour away.
