Each of the 192 units, main lodge and Grotto Spa highlights log buildings. The main lodge features 16 conference rooms, the Cedar Dining Room and Copper Lounge both specializing in West Coast Cuisine and local wines. Possibly the highlight of the resort is the brand new, 16,000 square foot Grotto Spa, now one of Canada's largest European spas. The spa features 16 treatment rooms, a 2,500 square foot mineral pool with solarium, a full hair salon and men’s and ladies lounges overlooking the Grotto Pool. Eco-adventure is also available at the resort including, whale watching, hiking, kayaking, caving, clamming, horseback riding on the beach and there are six golf courses within 30 minutes of the resort.
Tigh-Na-Mara also features unique packages including romantic getaways with dinner on the beach and a room decorated with candles and rose petals, girls only spa and golf getaways and in the summer months daily activities for children and families. From swimming lessons to family campfire nights and kids only dinners, Tigh-Na-Mara offers a full range of childrens and family activities from July to the end of August. The resort also has a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and tennis courts. Pets are also allowed in certain units, except during July and August.

Soft adventure is available thropugh the resorts concierge and can offer guests everything from a West Coast day trip and Whale Watching tours to Alpine hikes, horseback riding along the beach, caving in nearby world famous caves, kayaking, canoeing, garden tours and hiking.

The resort is also located within five to twenty minutes from seven local golf courses and shuttle services are also available. There are three mini golf courses in Parksville as well.

Fire pits are available at every unit and many units feature full kitchens, dining and living room and seperate bedrooms.

MORNINGSTAR GOLF COURSE
Morningstar International provides golfers of all abilities a great golf experience. Players will be faced with a great many challenges during the round. With an abundance of trees lining most fairways, plus a good number of strategically placed lakes and creeks, Morningstar is an excellent test of golf, plus a superb walk amongst nature. Though the layout is relatively flat, there is a great mix of superbly designed and interesting holes for all golfers to enjoy.

HORNE LAKE CAVES
Horne Lake is a crystal clear jewel located within an hours drive from Tigh-Na-Mara Resort & Spa. The only place where you can swim, explore caves, paddle a canoe and rock climb, all in one day! Voted “Best Natural Outdoor Site in BC” by Attractions Canada, the park’s Outdoor Education Centre features daily programs with naturalist guides. MILNER GARDENS
Ray Milner purchased the house and grounds in 1937, but the garden really developed in 1954 when his second wife Veronica had a vision for this wild garden. Old growth Douglas firs and cedars frame breathtaking views of the Strait of Georgia. The garden lawns slope gently to meet a precipitous bluff, which plunges to the beach below. Beyond the strait, the Coast Range Mountains of the British Columbia mainland can be seen. To the north, Denman, Hornby, Lasqueti and Texada Islands are visible.
