From April 2002 we have been under new management, therefore a exiting time lies ahead for us and we hope for all of our customers as well. To further improve our service and in raising our standard to compete with the best there is we will be developing the following facilities over a period of time.

But the cr譥 de? la cr譥 is absolutely the ?Small animal and bird sanctuary.? This means that the whole estate will be fenced, game reserve style, that will enable us to reintroduce small animal such as buck and in doing so we hope to attract even more birds to our sanctuary.

This project will be managed by us but developed in conjunction with local bird and wildlife associations as well as experts in restoring the vegetation to its original state. The same people who consults RBM in rehabilitating the mined dunes.

It?s size will approximately be 18000m? and footpaths, bird hides and viewpoints are included in the plans.

Accommodation

Luxurious one and two bedroom chalets are available, self-catering or serviced units. All the self-catering units are fully equipped.

Every chalet is secluded from the other and has access to it own private braai facility. All our guests have access to our own private beach access.

Furthermore every unit is equipped with air-conditioning, remote television and six DSTV channels.

24 Hour security

Conference

The conference centre accommodates 140 people seated and 200 standing. We cater for a variety of functions, including executive conferences, banquets, product launches, presentations, weddings and family anniversaries.

The conference centre is fully air-conditioned and has five breakaway rooms and an entertainment facility.

Imvubu Lodge provides an excellent venue in a classical setting which makes it ideal for team builds, ?Bosberade?, weekday and weekend conferences.

Management delegates in search of a quiet, upmarket venue for their think tanks and brain storming sessions need to look no further.

We entertain dignitaries on a regular basis including ministers, local government council as well as the King of the Zulu?s; King Goodwill Zwelitini has visited us.

Cuisine

Our restaurant is currently still under construction and will be opening at the end of November 2002. This facility promises to be best addition to our already excellent services yet. We are fully licensed.

Situated only 1.5 hours drive from Durban on the N2 North and within an hours drive from the Lake St. Lucia, which is an International heritage site and two world class game reserves with big 5 capabilities.
