As well as fabulous swimming Las Cucharas is famous for being an excellent windsurfing centre and there is a surf school on the beach. There are many restaurants along the beach front and from there it is a ten minute walk along the promenade into the centre of Costa Teguise, with all its many and varied facilities. Costa Teguise is home to the only Golf club on the island and a large Aqua Park for the children. Only a few minutes walk away is the newly built Thalasso & wellness centre.
