Heather Hill allows 5 minute access to either Cape Cod Bay or Ocean Beachs. There is a full kitchen, living room, w/d, gas grill, indoor/outdoor showers and cable TV. The deck overlooks Wellfleet Harbor and affords you an unforgettable view of the sunset over Cape Cod Bay. There are 2 full size beds and one twin. A glassed-in porch leading out to the deck has a day-bed on it. This cottage is quaint and accommodates a family of 5 or 6. On Wednesday evenings sounds of square dancing on Wellfleet pier resound over the hill that we're located on. You can walk through our yard, around a bend and find yourself on a tidal beach. A right turn on the beach will allow you a 20 minute walk over historic Uncle Tims bridge into Wellfleet Center.

Local Area Details

Wellfleet is 13 miles from Provincetown and a short drive to the ferries taking you to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Wellfleet has become the art center of the Northeast. We have an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes. The beach you have access to from the cottage is where the world famous Wellfleet Oysters are harvested. You will also witness people clamming when the tide is low. We also have one of the few Drive-in theatres left is the U.S. We have more fresh-water spring ponds in Wellfleet than anywhere else in the country. It's been written that Wellfleet is one of the few towns left on the Cape that Patti Page sang about in her now famous 'Old Cape Cod' tune.
