Luxury Holiday Lodge with Lake view situated on South Lakeland Leisure Village, a prestigious new development, approximately one mile from Junction 35 of the M6.
The Leisure Village is being developed with conservation very much to the fore. The lake within the Leisure Village has already attracted varied wildlife.
The accomodation consists of en-suite double bedroom, twin room, seperate bathroom/toilet, living area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The television has digital freeview channels, video and DVD player.
PLEASE NOTE We can convert the twin beds to bunk beds and put a spare bed in the twin room. This is fine for 2 adults and 3 children but would not be suitable for 5 adults.
Waters Edge bar and restaurant, which has already earned an excellent reputation, is situated within the Leisure Village.
"Pure Leisure" Leisure Centre, including indoor swimming pool, steam room, fully equipped gymnasium, beauty treatment rooms and "cafe lago" Tapas bar which overlooks the pool, is now fully open.
Local Area DetailsThe Leisure Village is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Lake District and is also handily placed for the Yorkshire Dales.
There are numerous lovely villages on the doorstep to explore including Arnside, Silverdale and Kirkby Lonsdale. The RSPB nature reserve at Leighton Moss is a short drive away.
Leighton Hall, home of the Gillow furniture makers, which is open to the public and has an impressive collection of antique furniture including many pieces by Gillow is also worth a visit. Birds of prey are also flown at Leighton Hall on a daily basis.
Carnforth railway station, famous for the film "Brief Encounter", and recently restored to its former glory is approximately 2 miles away.
The historic City of Lancaster and the many attractions of Morecambe Bay are also nearby.
Non motorised water sports are allowed on the Lake within the Leisure village. Discounts have been arranged for guests of South Lakes Lodges for Water skiing on the adjoining lake which is within easy walking distance of the lodge.
Golf courses nearby include Morecambe, Lancaster, Heysham, Kirkby Lonsdale,Kendal, Silverdale and Grange-over-Sands. All these courses welcome visitors and have fabulous views.

| Xmas and New Year weeks priced at £895, main summer season priced at £695 other weeks £350-£600. Prices include gas and electricity. Bed linen and towels are also provided. A welcome pack including tea, coffee, sugar, toilet rolls etc is provided. Part week/weekend rates available on request subject to availability. Please add £30 per week for pets.A deposit of £50 secures your booking, balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. For bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival, payment in full is required. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE Your lodge will be available from 4pm on your day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on your day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
Entrance to "Pure Leisure" Leisure Centre, use of the swimming pool, steam room and gymnasium is also included for guests of our lodge, although any beauty treatments will be charged seperately by the Leisure Centre. We strongly advise any guests wishing to book beauty treatments to do so in advance with the Leisure Centre. |
