Directly on the beach is Bontkop B&B and Self-catering, two modern Cape Dutch houses with secure off-street parking and unspoiled views of Table Mountain and ocean. We are located on the Bontkop coastal dune at the southern edge of Melkbosstrand village, 30km from Cape Town. From the property you have direct access to the beach without having to cross public roads.
North is a park and boardwalk along the beach passing cozy restaurants and a supermarket on the beachfront after only 5 avenues.
You can spend your day lazing next to the pool or on a private sundeck watching whales in season, or simply kick back to listen to the waves cascading over the rocks below.
Refresh body and soul with long walks on our safe beaches. Recharge in our unpolluted air with only the sounds of nature.
From Melkbosstrand you can reach all the best attractions in the Western Cape, using open safe roads.
Your hosts grew up locally with more than 25 years experience in mountaineering, diving and surfing in the Western Cape, and will gladly assist you in planning your excursions.
Self-catering:
The self-catering house consists of 3 rooms with double beds and one room with 2 twin beds. All rooms have stunning sea views, upper level rooms have sliding door access to balcony.
The main bedroom has en-suite bath and shower.
One double bedroom and the room with two twin beds share a full bathroom with shower and bath and separate toilette.
Third double bedroom has en-suite with shower only and is wheelchair friendly.
Double garage with remote, fully equipped kitchen, Dstv and Braai area.
Adjacent to the house is a park with play structures and boardwalk along beach with natural tidal pool.
