St Vincent-sur-Jard is a family seaside resort with shops, restaurants and 11th century church. The museum and house of George Clemenceau is on the sea front. This is an ideal base for exploring the numerous historical attractions.

Jard-sur-Mer a 5 min. drive away, is a small seaside resort bustling with activity in the summer months, variety of shops, supermarket, restaurants, markets, lovely Roman church, beaches and pine forest.

La Tranche about a 10 min. drive is a popular lively seaside town with numerous restaurants and shops, twice weekly market in summer, beaches, fishing, surf and sailing schools.

From the port of St. Malo the drive to St. Vincent-sur-Jard takes about 3 hours. From Cherbourg or Caen about 5 hours.
