This waterfront Wilderness Getaway consists of a two bedroom log cabin, on the shore of Big Greenwood Pond in the Moosehead lake Region of Northern Maine. Visit this area for a relaxing wilderness-oriented vacation. We have Moose and Loons - not outlet malls and traffic.
Spring Summer and Fall activities include Moose watching safarais, wildlife and bird watching (nearby Borestone Mountain Audubon society preserve), hiking, and other outdoor activities in the quiet Northern Maine wilderness. Fall foliage attracts many, with spectacular views from the lake. For Winter activities consider our three bedroom cabin, which is open year-round.
Local Area DetailsSpring and Summer allow most outdoor activities including golfing, fishing, hiking, bird and wildlife watching, canoeing, white-water rafting, etc.
Fall brings beautiful foliage and crisp air for hiking, hunting, etc.
Moosewatching is a year-round activity that is not available at DisneyWorld.
