This luxury, secluded, 17th century farmhouse stands on an acre of land facing south offers total privacy. Set in vineyards in an extremely peaceful hamlet less than 10 miles southwest of Bergerac and is midway between Bordeaux and Sarlat. There is a small town nearby with all amenities.


The accommodation comprises four bedrooms,

Bedroom 1: Laura Ashley
Large room with loads of wardrobe and drawer space, double bed and washbasin. There is a bathroom en suite

Bedroom 2: Scottish Room
Good sized bedroom with double bed and single bed. There is a shower and washbasin

Bedroom 3: Blue Room
This room is also spacious with double bed and single bed. [has an adjoining door to the master bedroom's [No 1] bathroom.]

Bedroom 4: The Wine Cellar
Originally a wine cellar and is smaller than the others. Has a ¾ sized bed [big enough for two small people or one llarge!]. It has a spacious bathroom/shower-room and toileen suite.
Sittingroom
Large sitting-room on two levels. Pleasantly cool in summer.
Library
From the sittingroom, stairs lead up to the library [with wood burner]

Dining room
The diningroom is 30ft long with gallery. The natural stone walls and beamed ceiling give this room tremendous character. This room also has a wood burner for the cooler months.

Kitchen
The large rustic kitchen leads out on to the terraces and swimming pool. The kitchen is well equipped will dishwasher, microwave, etc.

Laundry room
The laundry room has sinks, washing machine, ironing board, clothes airer, etc.

The gardens Top

The pool is situated behind the house in gardens and terraces facing south which captures the sun from dawn to dusk. The pool is enclosed and access is by the gates.

The are markets nearly everyday in the surrounding villages as well as the two held each well in Bergerac.

Golf
The famous Chateau de Vigier Golf Course is only 15 mins from the village.

There is a pony club nearby

There are two lakes for children nearby. One is only 4 kms and has tennis courts. Dinner and dancing evenings are held regularly in the summer months.
