Open-plan, L-shaped lounge/dining room. The lounge has two settees, mini-CD/cassette/radio system and terrestrial TV with video. Patio doors open onto a dining terrace with pergola, table and four chairs and a cast iron barbecue.
The dining area has a table and five chairs and patio doors opening onto the dining terrace. It is divided from the small kitchen by a breakfast bar. The kitchen has a four-ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, electric oven, microwave cooker, standard-size fridge, electric kettle and toaster. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, wall safe and en-suite shower room with toilet and hand washbasin. The second bedroom has twin beds and fitted wardrobes and the third bedroom has a single bed and fitted wardrobes.
The bed in the third bedroom converts into two single beds, if required, and is best suited for either one adult or two children. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom which has a bath with shower, toilet and hand washbasin.
The swimming pool is approximately 18’ x 11’ and is completely surrounded by a 5’ high wall. There is a poolside shower and four sunloungers. The villa stands on a large plot with Canarian-style gardens.

Local Area Details

Lajares is a delightful, rural community and is epitomised by whitewashed houses and dry-stone walls bordering a patchwork of fields.
Its main attraction is the lace making school which is on the itinerary of daily tourist coach trips but, otherwise, the sleepy village atmosphere is, as yet, untouched by widespread commercialism.

There are four bar/restaurants in the village, including L’Aventura which serves excellent pizzas, and one well-stocked supermarket.

Lajares is ideal for those seeking peace and tranquillity in a traditional, countryside environment but with easy access to the beaches at El Cotillo (8 minutes by car) and the main resort town of Corralejo (12-15 minutes).
