Hunter Holiday Cottages are situated in beautiful country side on our working farm just 16kms south of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city.
We have 4 STB "3 star rated" (Very Good) 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed stone built cottages. Log burning stoves, open fires and full central heating provide a warm welcome after your busy day in Edinburgh. The historic city of Edinburgh is only 20 minutes drive away, and the castles and lochs of the Borders and Highlands are within easy driving distance.
A good direct bus route into Princes Street is a 5 min walk away and we can arrange a local taxi. We are just 5 mins from the Edinburgh city bypass, 20 mins from Edinburgh airport and 1 hour from Glasgow.

Local outdoor pursuits include 8 golf courses, pony trekking in the Pentland Hills, trout fishing, tennis and miles of walks in Roslin Glen and the Pentland Hills country park.
There are 2 leisure centres nearby both with pools and gyms.
Roslin Chapel famous as the burial site for the Holy Grail brought back from the Crusades, by the St. Clair family, is only 5 mins drive from the cottages in the charming village of Roslin.
