Retreat to the forest & fjord adventures of this classy log lodge & log guest cabins, in the heart of true wilderness since 1974. Modern comforts amidst rustic elegance, in a virgin Spruce forest on the edge of a protected saltwater cove.
Each log guest cabin has 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room, modern bathroom, constant electricity and great views from every window. Each bedroom has a queen & twin bed, flannel sheets, down comforters, wall-to-wall carpeting and tasteful decor. Each guest living room has a day-bed, several swivel rockers, carpeting and a high-tech heater. There's also a 9'8" life-size mounted Kodiak Brown Bear in one of the living rooms that guests like to pose beside. The bathrooms each have glass showers with instant hot water, vanity sink, flush toilets and electrical plug-ins.
The main lodge is where family-style breakfast & supper are enjoyed, overlooking the bay where sea-otter casually float by. A fireplace and VCR/DVD are available to guests for added evening relaxation and you can tune into Planet-Earth from Paradise via our satellite-TV. Additionally, depending on one's energy level, guests can go kayaking, do other water-sports or take a sauna at day's end.
Because this is an island-environment, cabin-cruisers (with experienced guides) are the main means of transportation to the various points of interest then guests can go ashore or just enjoy their photography or fishing from the boats. Lunches are aboard the cabin-cruisers or on beaches, as occassion permits.
