Located in Nordegg, Alberta, Cheechako Cabins offers a secluded mountain retreat away from the crowds of the national parks. A family run operation, Cheechako Cabins has been providing quality lodging for over 6 years and is open year round.Currently there are 4 cabins available for short or long term stays. We have a one bedroom unit that can sleep up to 4 people and a two bedroom that can accommodate up to 6 guests. We also have our "Honeymoon Cabins" which was built with open floor plans and are ideal for singles or couples. All the cabins are self contained with fully equipped kitchens,with many extras not usually found in similar accommodation, bathrooms, electric heat, satellite TV, wood burning stoves, propane BBQ and private covered decks. Our outdoor common area has a large fire pit, picnic tables and benches for lounging around the fire or for socializing with the other guests.
Enjoy our gentle, friendly llamas, watch the wildlife roaming through the yard and try to identify all the birds that visit the property.

Local Area Details

The Nordegg area boasts a wide variety of activities and some of the most beautiful scenery in the Rocky Mountains. Several waterfalls,lakes and rivers are within short drives from the property. You can swim, hike, bike, fish, or golf at the Historic Nordegg Golf Course, go trail riding, take a helicopter tour or a glacier walk.
