It comfortably accommodates up to 7 persons (master bedroom with queen bed and full bath; second bedroom with two twin beds and full bath; overstuffed full-size pull-out sleeper (double) and oversized pull-out chair (single) plus half bath in the Great Room in front of the fireplace). Full kitchen with full size refrigerator, full size oven and range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and kitchenware and separate dining area add to your enjoyment. Cable TV and fireplace with firewood provided for apres-ski.

Our condo is nestled among the Ponderosa Pines at Gold Dust Condominiums at 8,500 feet overlooking the beautiful Moreno Valley and Mt. Wheeler, New Mexico's highest peak (13, 161'). Gold Dust condos are widely considered to be among the 2-3 better condo complexes on the mountain. We are centrally located in the ski village with three restaurants (including Angel Fire's only gourmet restaurant, The Roasted Clove) within one block and three additional restaurants within two blocks. The Angel Fire Resort Hotel, U.S. Post Office, new town library, ski rental shops, and many other amenities are within easy walking distance.

Angel Fire is New Mexico's premier family ski resort with 70 trails, over 55% snowmaking capacity for dry seasons, and the only two high speed quad lifts in New Mexico (8 minutes to the top of the mountain on the front side; less than 5 minutes to the top of the mountain on the back side). A highly regarded Children's Ski School, snowboard and terrain parks, and 19 km of groomed Nordic trails at the summit add to your enjoyment. Best of all, lodging, dining, rental, and lift ticket prices are among the best in the U.S. A quality Rocky Mountain skiing experience without the huge Utah and Colorado crowds at lower prices. Four other ski resorts, including world famous Taos Ski Valley, are within 45 minutes.

In spring, summer, and fall enjoy the pleasant alpine climate while touring north central New Mexico and southern Colorado. Taos and Taos Pueblo (24 miles), Red River, Cimmarron, Santa Fe (90 miles), Abiqiui, Chama, Los Alamos, Alamosa and Durango, Colorado (2 - 2 1/2 hours) and other points of interest are within easy driving distances. Each July Angel Fire hosts an annual balloon festival and in August world class musicians perform classical music at the annual music festival. 18 hole PGA approved golf course, numerous mountain biking events and trails, trail rides by the hour, day, or week, excellent trout fishing, and many other outdoor activities make Angel Fire a great summer resort or weekend getaway. Each October enjoy the aspens turning golden yellow against a backdrop of Ponderosa Pine and western spruce. Average high temperature in July and August: 76 degrees Fahrenheit (with effectively no humidity).
