This beach rental has all the comforts of home including a fully-equipped kitchen, gas BBQ, TV/VCR/DVD player, direct TV, a large wraparound sun deck, and washer/ dryer. The home also has an indoor Jacuzzi bathtub for two overlooking the beach and large balcony facing the gulf. The jacuzzi tub is located in the gulf-facing bedroom next to the deck. This window has no window coverings as it faces the gulf. The home was originally built as a custom dream home, so the home has lots of special touches such as cherry wood cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, Anderson windows, and attractive molding. One of my favorite touches are the holiday tiles the previous owner lovely collected for 20 years and had installed in the kitchen.
The roomy and airy beach house was built in 1999, and has all the comforts of home including a washer and dryer, outdoor BBQ and large kitchen. The modern, but inviting décor enhances that romantic and relaxed setting we all seek. The home has three bedrooms and 2 baths and sleeps up to six people. Local Area DetailsBeach Haven is in the Big Bend area of the Florida Panhandle. It's quite a remarkable and quite a contrast to the touristy Panhandle destinations of Panama City, Destin, Ft Walton Beach, and Pensacola. It's an understatement to say we are in little quieter area. Nevertheless there is a great deal to do and to explore.
Other than snoozing on the deck in the afternoon, collecting sea shells, walking on the beach, gazing at the sky, falling in love all over again, there are lots of things to do. Keep in mind this is a very natural area, so please do not expect touristy-type activities. Although I do not fish, I hear the fishing is great and I always see someone fishing. There is a sea aquarium close by that has a touching tank for children that is really great to visit. There are boat tours in Wakalla Springs that take you into nature. There are a few phenomenal restaurants in the immediate area and if you are willing to drive 30 to 60 minutes, you can find other great restaurants. St George which is about 60 minutes away and is worth visiting. Some wrote an article about 101 things to do in the area that I am trying to locate to add to my web site. | Beach Haven is a beachfront vacation rental located on Alligator Point on the Gulf of Mexico in Florida . The home is right on the beach and offers a breathtaking panoramic of beautiful and unspoiled beach. There is plenty of privacy on two-thirds of an acre. All homes are on 2/3 acre or larger lots. Bald Point State Park is located approximately 400 feet away adding to a relaxed and secluded feeling.
This spacious home was recently built and has three bedrooms, two baths and comfortably sleeps up to six people.
Alligator point is near several airports. Tallahassee Airport is about 45 minutes away by car. You can also fly into Panama City (two hour drive), Jacksonville (3 hour drive), or Atlanta (5 hours drive). An unpaved private landing strip is also located a few miles away.
