The guest house is situated in the town of Colesberg,an oasis in the Karoo,halfway to everywhere.Conveniently located in the upper part of town,we are in a quiet,residential area,conducive to a good night's rest.

Recently refurbished,our "rooms with a view" can accommodate 10 people in 4 stylishly decorated bedrooms.The rooms sleep from 2 to 4 people,all with bathroom en-suite or your own private bathroom.The comfortable rooms are all equipped with double or twin beds,boasting comfortable mattresses,crisp linen,fans and heaters,electric blankets in winter and tea and coffee-making facilities

There is a small pub and TV lounge (with satellite TV),a barbecue area and a sparkling pool.Braai packs are available on request.We also have secure,lockup,undercover parking,a fully-equipped kitchen for use by our guests and plenty of fridge and freezer space for our guests' perishable items.

We offer a delicious English style breakfast in the morning.

Local Area Details

Colesberg has retained much of the charm of an early Karoo town and for such a small place has a remarkable number of national monuments.It was also the scene of considerable fighting during the Anglo-Boer war.For those interested,we can organise guided tours of the the Colesberg/Kemper museum,of the town or of the Anglo-Boer sites.

Colesberg also offers a choice of restaurants,including fast food outlets,a pizzeria,steak houses and an English pub.

Colesberg is surrounded by game farms and game viewing as well as hunting in season can be arranged.
