Casa de Hins Ashar is a typically Spanish house located centrally in the town. There are 4 double bedrooms which are split into two self contained apartments – each has 2 double bedrooms, a lounge with TV, bathroom and fitted kitchen complete with cooking facilities, fridge-freezer and microwave. Each apartment can sleep up to six people, as there is a double sofa bed in each lounge. Both apartments have full access to the large roof terrace, which has fantastic views over the lake and the surrounding countryside. The entire property can be rented as one booking if required.
Located in the heart of the picturesque Pueblo Blanco of Iznajar, this lovely house offers a unique opportunity to sample life in this beautiful Spanish town.
Untouched by tourism the town is an excellent base in which to explore this beautiful area of Andalucia. The Lake of Andalucia, on which Iznajar sits, stretches out for over 20 miles and offers world-class fishing, water sports and a beautifully clean beach. The area is ideal for bird-watching, mountain-biking and walking, with many trails around the lakeside and surrounding mountains. The water in the lake is warm in the summer months and a swim can prove to be a welcome break from the midday sun. The town also has a lovely municipal out-door swimming pool just a short walk from the house.

Local Area Details

The area is surrounded by an abundance of interesting and historical villages and towns and Iznajar itself boasts one of the oldest Moorish castles in the region as well as ancient churches and an historic library. To eat out in the area you are spoiled for choice as Iznajar and the surrounding area has a wealth of traditional tapas bars and restaurants. Whether you would like to dine at the world famous La Bobidilla Hotel (favourite stay for the likes of King Carlos, Tom Cruise and honeymoon hotel for Brad Pitt and wife) or you would like to mix with some of the ‘Iznajenos’ in a local tapas bar, the choice is endless.
Iznajar could not be better placed being just 50 minutes from the bustling coast of the Costa del Sol, one hour from Malaga airport, and within easy reach of the historical cities of Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla. The ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are just 90 minutes away, and golfing facilities are within a 30 minute drive.
