Local Area Details

In 1763 the farm house was built from stone quarried on the farm. Oak beams from ships timbers, and 3ft. Thick walls retain the character of that period. Central heating has been added and modern conveniences. There is a private tarmac road to the farm and 106 acres of grassland running spectacularly to the cliff edge, with a steep winding footpath down to a sandy cove. With safe bathing, good sea fishing, bird life and wild flowers in profusion, this is an outstanding secluded, scenic beach.
