Picturesque Kinloch Villas (3 minutes drive to the Lake Edge)
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our villas and take a walk around our beautiful Marina or swim in our crystal clear waters of Lake Taupo.Kinloch has a beautiful golfcourse and has a Jack Nicolaus International Design golf course being developed which will give Kinloch 2 golf courses. We have beautiful bush walks,a restaurant that serves a lovely meal and the local shop has everything that you would need. We are only 1 hours drive from the thermal city of Rotorua and Taupo is only a 15 minute drive. Taupo has hot mineral pools to relax in after your days sightseeing and of course Huka Falls. We can arrange boat trips for you (fishing or sightseeing). There is another Internation Golf Course in Taupo.
Taupo is a tourist resort and receives a lot of tourists from overseas. Kinloch Villas are only 1 1/2 hours drive to the mountains and the ski fields. (Mount Ruapehu). The villas are only 1 year old and we have 3 self/contained villas with there own courtyards. BBQ available and continental breakfast served on request. $7.50. The villas are tastefully decorated. We have a couple of friendly Alpaca's and a dozen housed chickens. Cattle are on the rest of the property. Children welcome. There is plenty of lawn for them to play on as well as swings-slides ect.
Kinloch is a fabulous place to visit, we know as we have lived here for 23 years. Very central to all the activities so a good place to base yourselves.
Local Area DetailsTaupo and Rotorua is where the thermal activities are. (Boiling mud, geysers ect.) We are 1 1/2 hours drive from the beautiful Waitomo Caves. A must for all visitors to see. Napier/Hastings our wine growing area is only 1 1/2 hours drive from the villas. Mount Ruapehu is only 1 1/2 hours drive from here. With its beautiful Chateau and ski fields. We have some of the best Trout Fishing in the World at Lake Taupo and its rivers that flow into Lake Taupo. Trips can be arranged. Farming (Dairy & Sheep and cattle, deer, Alpacas) are on the outskirts of Taupo. Farm Trips can be arranged. Huka Falls in Taupo, Jet Boat rides, Maori Cultural Show with Hungi is also a popular attraction. Whakarewarewa with it's thermal activities is another popular attraction.
