Property Details of Waikato Cottage

Enter down our driveway treelined with London Planes to our country cottage where you will recieve a warm welcome. The Cottage is a two bedroom self-contained with laundry. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two single size beds. The kitchen, lounge and dining are all in one room, the kitchen has a benchtop oven, two hotplates, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, electric frypan and a good size pantry with all cooking facilites. The lounge has a sofa and chair plus a radio with cd and tape deck, there is a telephone which you can connect for internet, TV with sky digital and a electric heater for the winter and a fan for summer. The laundry has a washing machine and tub. Bathroom has shower, vanity etc. We can also provide a portacot and highchair for your little one. I service The Cottage daily, clean and provide with fresh towels.
Outside on the veranda overlooking our 47 acres you can relax and sit at the table and enjoy the peaceful surroundings set in two acres of garden which is a short distance from our home. On the lawn there is also table and chairs with a trampoline for the children. The Cottage is very private with trees and gardens, a large pond which our ducks love, and have our doves visit you for that bit of bread. Have a talk to our clydesdale mare (Sarah) and our miniature mare (Sha) who love people staying especially when they have apples in their hand. We farm Hereford Cattle and Suffolk Sheep. We have two Jack Russell dogs which will welcome you also. Continental breakfast provisions are supplied for first morning.
Longterm stayers are most welcome.

We are 10kms from Hamilton Central which has its beautiful Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Zoo, Waikato Events Centre, Cafes, Restaurants, Hamilton Lake, its longest river in New Zealand with its Waipa Delta paddle steamer. 8kms from our nearest Restaurant and Shopping Centre. 20km from Mystery Creek where the Feildays are held every year. 18kms from Hamilton Airport, courtesy car is available to and from airport.
