The villa is located in the village of Canet-en-Roussillon which is 10km from the south eastern French city of Perpignan and 2km from the Mediterranean coastal resort of Canet-Plage.
A regular bus service[No.1] operates between Perpignan city centre and the beach of Canet-Plage, with a bus stop around the corner from the house. There is no need for a car when you stay at this property.
The villa can accommodate 8 adults or 6 adults and 4 children. It has privacy, comfort, peace and quiet, and yet is within walking distance of shops and cafes (2 minutes or less around the corner).

Canet-en-Roussillon is splendidly placed by nature to take full advantage of the summer sunshine which comes earlier to this part of France, for this is Languedoc Rousillon, southernmost province of France- a fabled land of romance and history, rolling hills, vineyards and beautiful golden beaches.
Canet-Plage, 2km away, boasts 7 beaches supporting a variety of activities and sports including fishing, diving, sailing and jet/water skiing. Golfers will love the 27-hole complex in St Cyprien. There is a busy yacht marina and lively casino. Restaurants and shops are easily accesible, and for the inquisitive there are no less than 3 museums: toy-dolls, restored cars and a model boat museum. There is also an aquarium in the harbour. Those interested in walking or skiing can head for the Pyrenean Mountains that nestle just behind the resort.
The Spanish border is approximately 25km south of Canet and the fusion of French and Catalonian culture in this region make exploring the surrounding villages and countryside a must. Barcelona is just 1hr 45mins away by car.
