You have decided you want to take a self catering holiday and now you need to start making your plans. You do have a couple of options: first is to use a travel agent and another is to do the research yourself online.

Self catering holiday accommodation is basically a hotel, cottage or apartment that has cooking facilities but does not provide meals. There is an equipped kitchen, usually with a cooker, refrigerator and freezer, dishes and utensils. Some of the more modern accommodation is even equipped with a microwave and dishwashing machine.
