Sporades is a group of islands found in Greece, and it is one of the greenest islands you could ever come across. Its four main islands - tourist destinations - are Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos, and Skyros.

If you have a little money to splurge on your Greek vacation, Sporades is the best place to go as there are expensive hotels where you can get pampered and treated like a true VIP, particularly in Skiathos.

There are beaches that are not jam-packed with tourists, so you can actually go skinny dipping in one of the beaches found here for a different kind of adventure on the beach. There are also those that tourists favor, and these ones have amenities to make your beach holiday comfortable.

Whether you prefer to be in the thick of things or a little solitude, there are places you can go to that fit your mood and taste. Restaurants, bars and shops are easily accessible, so you can enjoy some local dishes and cocktails in full view of the beautiful beaches.

Boat rides are also popular among tourists, and you may find that prices for these boat rides vary, so best to check out first the prices before getting on any boat.

The neighboring islands of Alonnisos and Skopelos are more subdued. Getting around here by foot is easy and actually more preferred by other visitors as the leisurely strolls acquaint them with the friendly people of the island.

In Skopelos, you can feast on the beauty of the town with its line of houses and shops. The shops in particular are awesome as they have a collection of items that you won’t find anywhere else.
