adminThe Virgin Islands is an unincorporated territory of the United States of America between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean.
One of the greatest attractions of the Virgin Islands is St. Croix which has even remained unspoiled for 500 years when Christopher Columbus landed on the island. The spot boasts of numerous historic buildings which are dated to be centuries old, a line of colorful shops for shoppers to visit and fine restaurants along the streets. One of the greatest features of St. Croix is that it has around more than 700 acres of crystal clear water. There are even rum factories that can be found in the area and a golf course for those golf lovers.
Another great place to visit is St. John. Its greatest attraction is the Virgin Island National Park which is comprised of around 9,500 acres of green hills, forests and underwater natural reserves. What you can do here is mostly related to bodies of water. You can go scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing or fishing in these parts. The Elaine Ione Sprauve Library can also be found here. So, if you’re interested in the history and culture of the Virgin Islands, you might as well visit the library.
St. Thomas is also a great mention. You can reach it with a 25 minute drive from St. John, so, it’s not very far at all. Here you can go yachting, fishing, shopping and other loads more of things. You can even play golf, tennis and other sports while you’re here. The golf course located here poses one of the most difficult holes in the Caribbean.
