Romanian Stowaway Somehow Survives Flight from Austria to London

Reports are popping up all over the net that a stowaway was able to survive a flight over the Alps inside the undercarriage of a jumbo jet that was owned by a prominent Arab sheikh. The Romanian stowaway was unhurt despite the fact that he was exposed to temperatures as low as -41ºF during his one-hour, 40-minute flight from Vienna to London inside the wheel compartment of the privately owned Boeing 747.

This man, who is 20 years old, has not yet been named. Apparently he had no idea where the aircraft was heading to when he climbed into the undercarriage. All of this was in a desperate attempt to find work abroad after failing to get a job in Austria.

He was dismayed to find out that he had landed in Britain. This is a country, which as a nation of the European Union member state, he would have been entitled to enter legally without having to resort to such extreme measures.
Either way, the man was arrested at Heathrow airport and cautioned for entering the country without a passport. Despite this the man has now been released, according to Scotland Yard. Other sources say that the Boeing 747 is understood to belong to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This is the ruler of Dubai and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.

Australian police said that the man told British officers that he had scaled or slipped under the fence leading onto the runway at Vienna’s Schwechat airport. After he was in, he simply made for the nearest plane parked near a building site. An investigation into the security breach is already underway.
