The Hilton Hotels Corporation has just announced that they will be launching two new properties in the Middle East. This new agreement was made with the Al Hokair Group, and the properties going up will be Hilton Garden Inns.
The first Hilton Garden Inn will be located in Riyadh Olaya. This great 180 room hotel will be scheduled to open mid-2009. Afterwards, another 196 room Hilton Garden Inn will become open in Riyahd Al Muroj. This hotel is not scheduled to open until the first quarter of 2010.
These two new hotels are the first properties of many to be entered into the Strategic Development Agreement that was signed back in 2008. The agreement between the two companies will help Hilton Hotels increase their name across the Saudi Arabian market place.
Hilton Hotels said that they look forward to working closely with Al Hokair Group to introduce the Hilton brand to the Middle East. They also hope to come up with more opportunities on how they can expand in this region.
Hilton Garden Inn hotels are a mid-scale, mid-price brand of hotels. Thus, it is the hope of the hotel chain that it will cater to the Saudi Arabia business travelers. The Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya is located in the downtown area of Riyadh. Thus, it is in a great spot for people who are to be in the major business section of Riyadh. The other hotel located in the North Ring Road will be in very close proximity to some of the wealthiest businesses in Riyadh.
Inside each hotel will be three meeting rooms, as well as 24 hour complimentary business centers and a prayer room.
