New Airline Rating System Launched by TripAdvisor
Stewart PerryIt now seems that TripAdvisor, which is one of the world’s largest travel review sites, has just announced the launch of its airline rating system for TripAdvisor Flights. This new feature will now allow all travelers to give and receive candid feedback on their flying experience through a new airline rating tool.
Although there are a number of airline rating tools out there that can be used through other sites, TripAdvisor’s airline rating tool may be the most detailed yet. TripAdvisor Flights now features eight airline rating categories that people can rate. The eight categories are: Baggage Handling, Check In Experience, In Flight Service, In Flight Amenities, Value, Seat Comfort, Reasonableness of Fees, and Punctuality.
This new tool also shows the percentage of travelers who would recommend a particular airline to their family and friends. This makes comparing airlines quick and easy. Travelers can also filter search results by minimum ratings. On top of this, they can add an airline rating as their own as long as they are signed in as a TripAdvisor member.
Bryan Saltzburg, who is the general manager of TripAdvisor Flights, said that for more than a decade, TripAdvisor has been the leader in enabling travelers to access, as well as share, trusted advice on hotels, restaurants, attractions, and holiday rentals. Now, with the launch of airline ratings, millions of travelers who use TripAdvisor Flights every month will be able to get useful feedback on how airlines stack up against each other. By combining information from all of these categories, travelers can finally find the airline that is perfect for them. TripAdvisor Flights now gives passengers complete control.
