The death of the pop super star Michael Jackson came as a shock to many people. Mr Jackson passed away from a heart attack last Thursday at the UCLA hospital. Michael Jackson’s personal doctor is now being questioned by the Los Angeles Police department about the death.

The very first autopsy for Michael was done on Friday, one day after the death. However, the Jackson family is now seeking out a second autopsy. Many questions still remain unanswered and some new questions have been raised about the singer’s relationship to prescription medication.

Dr Conrad Murray, who is Michael’s personal physician, was by the singer’s side when he collapsed Thursday. It is also said that the personal physician hired an attorney before he went in to see the Los Angeles Police department for questioning.

The law firm that is representing Dr Murray, Stradley, Chernoff & Alford, said that the doctor was a witness to the events surrounding Michaels death; however, he is not a suspect. They went on to say that they have been hired to walk the doctor through the investigation process, as well as make sure that the police handle the investigation properly.

Media reports now say that Michael had been injected with a narcotic painkiller called Demerol just shortly before his heart attack took place. When the paramedics arrived to Michale’s mansion, Dr Murray was trying to revive him.

The official autopsy that was done on Michael failed to determine what the cause of death was. However, a pending toxicology test will not return for another six weeks.
