Michael Jackson’s Mother Wants Custody Over Children

Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, is currently taking care of the singer’s three children, and she wants it to stay that way. The Jackson family is already prepared to go to court to fight for custody of the three kids if they must. Londell McMillan, the Jackson’s attorney said that the family has yet to hear anything from Deborah Rowe, who is the mother of Jackson’s 2 oldest kids. So it is still unclear if she wants custody of the children or not.

The Jacksons’ attorney said that she did not think that there was anyone in this world that would think that someone else could do a better job raising the kids than Katherine Jackson. She went on to say that Katherine is a very loving women who is very protective of her grandchildren.

When Michael Jackson passed away, he left behind his three lovely kids. The names of the kids are Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, age 12 (also known as Prince Michael), Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, age 11, and of course, Prince Michael II, age 7. The youngest of the kids was born to a surrogate mother.

Since Jackson’s kids were kept under such close security when he was alive, it has become a lingering question who was going to care for the children if something were to happen to him. However, as of now it is almost certain that the fate of these children will be decided in the courtroom.

Many experts are quick to point out that the strongest legal claim to the kids would be to Rowe. However, it is still unclear if Jackson had designated a potential guardian for his children or not before he passed away. Rowe’s attorney said in a statement that Ms. Rowe’s only thoughts at the moment were regarding the devastating loss that the Jackson family has suffered.
