Marriott and Pegasus Renew Deal

The long term agreement over agents’ payments has now been renewed between Marriott and Pegasus. Pretty much, this means that the deal that had Pegasus Solutions handling the payments made to agents for hotel bookings has been renewed by Marriott.
This agreement has l2 years between this worldwide hotel chain and the IT company already. The new agreement keeps the deal good up until 2014, but people should not be shocked if they hear that the deal goes on longer than that as well.
With the agreement, the payments will be processed and handled by Pegasus’s Global Commission Processing Service. This will be used by 60,000 agents around the world. Pegasus also noted that the system offers payments to agents in 37 different currencies on a weekly basis.
Marriott’s VP for global sales intermediaries, Julius Robinson, said that the chain could help agents in receiving professional guidance and prompt payments. Then in return, they would become valuable partners. He also added that, over the past 12 years, doing business with Pegasus Solutions has left nothing but complete faith between the two companies. This helps in ensuring agents that they have access to a first rate and highly effective payment system.
Deals like these are made all the time, but it is pretty rare to see a relationship between two companies last so long. However, both companies say that they are happy with the deal, and it would be very likely to see another deal made come 2014. However, everything is always subject to change.
