British Airways Pilot Being Charged with the Murder Of His Wealthy Wife
Stewart PerryReports now show that, just recently, British Airways pilot Robert Brown was forced to appear in court. Apparently he is being charged with the murder of his wealthy wife, Joanna Brown. On top of this, the 47-year-old man is also being charged with preventing a coroner from holding an inquest.
The prosecutor, Graham Reeds, started off the case by saying that, in a nutshell, Robert murdered his wife and took her body to Windsor Great Park. There he put her in a grave with the intention that she would never be found.
The couple had gotten married way back in February of 1999. However, Mrs Brown had actually issued divorce proceedings in the summer of 2007. They couple had a really hard time with the split due to issues regarding their kids and, of course, finances. Just before the couple got married, they signed a prenuptial agreement. The whole point of this was to help protect Mrs Browns inherited fortune. It was said that her father had requested this agreement, because she had suffered a failed marriage already.
As of right now it is still not known what the two were splitting up for. All that is known is that their marriage was not working out. It has still not been made clear everything that Mr Brown had to gain from the death of his ex-wife. Either way, the trial is still underway.
Of course, this is not very good press for British Airways. Although it really has nothing to do with them, the general public tends to associate this kind of thing with certain names. Since the man worked for British Airways, people will now relate this story to the airline every time they hear the name.
