Sixt Expands in North America

Sixt is increasing its presence in North America by adding new rental locations in 2015. This was kicked off by adding a new station in Detroit Metro Airport. At this location, Sixt will be offering a number of premium cars, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac.

The German car rental giant says that it wants to increase its presence in North America because the country is currently the largest car rental market across the globe. While it’s hard for car rental companies to break into the market, Sixt feels that it has done a great job since it first got into the market in 2011. Some of the other locations in which Sixt is hoping to open over the course of the year include Philadelphia International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Boston’s Logan International Airport. Sixt says it will also open a number of other locations around popular urban areas.

Johannes Boeignhoff, the president of Sixt’s American branches, said that the company is very pleased with the progress it has made since it first entered the market. It has quickly adapted to what the American market wants. Sixt has forced its way into a number of very popular networks, including both airport and downtown locations. With amazing customer service, steady growth and attractive specials, there are no reasons why consumers should not consider Sixt for their next car rentals.
