Holidaymakers Warned Over Iberia Cabin Crew Strike Plans

It now seems that the well known Spanish carrier, Iberia, will be forced to cancel many of its flights for November 10th and November 11th. This is due to the fact that cabin crew members are planning the second stage of their strike in less than a month. Any holidaymakers who have made plans to travel on these days may need to look for a different company to fly with.

The strike itself has already been called and will take place. The cabin crew are taking action over a pay dispute with the airline. The last strike that took place for the carrier was on October 26 and the 27.

Flights between Madrid and London are among some of the flights that will be affected. However, flights involving Paris, Brussels, New York, and Sao Paulo will be affected as well. A total of 360 flights have been canceled due to the two-day strike.

The carrier said in a statement that it is canceling some of its flights on November 10th and 11th due to the strike. The airline is sorry for the travelers that will be affected by this trike. The airline also noted that it was trying its best to avoid any kind of unjustified strike and is calling on the responsibility of the unions organizing the strikes to cancel it.

A full list of the flights that will be canceled can be found on the Iberia website. Although some customers may have already been contacted due to their flight information, it is still a good idea for travelers that will be traveling with Iberia on these days to check and make sure that their flights have or have not been canceled.
