Starwood Hotels & Resorts Maintains Expansion in Poland

Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced last Thursday that they have made an agreement for the long-term with Europejski Fundusz Hipoteczny for the management of the new Sheraton Mazury Lakes Resort in Poland. The new hotel is set to open during 2011 and will be situated close to Taltowisko/Talty Lake, which in the nature sanctuary of the country and is home to canoing and sailing enthusiasts. The area is also located close to Mikolajki, which a historic town about 140 miles northeast of Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

The Sheraton Mazury Lakes Resort is set to have 274 rooms, with a total of 17 luxurious suites and 257 bedrooms, which will all be equipped with the signature room and bathroom of Sheraton, as well as the well known Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed.
