New reports now show that Hilton Hotels has finally open their very first Hilton Garden Inn in the Asia Pacific region. This takes the Hilton Garden Inn portfolio to nearly 500 hotels worldwide. Although the hotel was announced some time ago, it has recently just resurfaced as big news after the doors finally came open.

The hotel, which is near the bustle of the DLF Place Mall in Saket, is located right in the heart of New Delhi’s shopping and recreation district. Thus, this hotel is, not only perfect for business travelers, but for entertainment seeking leisure travelers as well. Another key feature to the hotel is that it is located just 30 minutes away from the New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Martin Rinck, the President of Asia Pacific Hilton Hotels, said that this hotel is expected to be the first of many Hilton Garden Inn Hotels in the country. The reason for such a big focus on India is due to the tremendous demand that Hilton Hotels has been getting from businesses and corporate travel companies to focus growth and service in India for both domestic and international travelers.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Saket features 114 guest rooms that are equipped with a range of amenities. Some of the amenities that people will be able to enjoy include self adjusting, pressure relieving Garden Sleep System beds. The rooms are fitted with workspace and a clutter free desk. Complimentary wired and wireless high speed Internet access is available in every room as well. Guests will also have access to secure and remote printing to the hotel’s complimentary 24 hour business center.
