16 new destinations for summer 2010 at Flybe
Dave BondFlybe, the top domestic commercial passenger in Britain, just announced the introduction of 16 brand new connections to its full Summer 2010 schedule which will include routes serving Guernsey, Jersey, Manchester, Birmingham, Exeter and Southampton plus another new European link originating from London Gatwick. New city-destinations include those in Verona in northern Italy as well as the ones in regional France.
This move will bump up the total number of flights to an extensive selection of 3,738 Flybe summer routes every week from which to choose.
All of the previously announced flights on Flybe for its Summer 2010 programme, as well as those of franchise partner Loganair are currently available for reservation all the way through October 30, 2010.
The complete schedule for the summer 2010 edition is available at the airline’s website at www.flybe.com for flights starting on March 28 with ticket prices beginning at £22.99, including charges and taxes, for a one-way transfer.
Some of key additions at Flybe’s summer routes include:
• Birmingham: Avignon (3 times a week), Bordeaux (4 times a week), Limoges (3 times a week) and Rennes (3 times a week)
• Guernsey: Edinburgh* (3 times a week) and Belfast* (2 times a week): these are still subject to approval from the States of Guernsey
• Jersey: Once weekly Prestwick and Durham Tees Valley
• London Gatwick: Limoges (3 times a week)
• Manchester: Avignon (2 times a week), Bergerac (3 times a week)
and Limoges (3 times a week)
• Southampton: Verona (weekly)
The carrier’s other new summer flights now available service Hannover, Germany from Exeter which combines a stop in Newcastle as well as a Bristol to the Isle of Man route.
Additionally, Flybe is returning with popular French regional flights originating from Exeter and heading to Avignon, Bergerac and Rennes as well as services to Norwich and Dubrovnic.

Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer Mike Rutter explained that the airlines sis delighted to provide almost 4000 summer flights per week during a period in history when other carriers are pulling services. He added that the company is committed to offer the broadest possible variety of destinations at competitive prices.
