The Paradise Point Estates in Kailua, Hawaii, has once again been chosen by President Barack Obama and his family to be used as the official 2009 holiday season Winter White House.

According to Paradise Point Estates owner David Zimel, his accommodation offers the ideal combination of security and luxury necessary for the Winter White House.

Zimel added that the property features stunning details, such as the lava gated entry as well as water on two sides, and that the estate provides a very high level of functionality as a presidential office l doubling as luxurious family retreat.

The Paradise Point Estates overlook breathtaking vistas of Kailua Bay, the Ko’olau Mountain Range and the Mokulua Islands.

Available for both purchase and rental, the Plantation Estate is fully completed displaying exquisite amenities as well as furnishings and custom finishes from all over the world.

The center courtyard of the estate showcases a very private lagoon-style pool pavilion featuring a lavish island spa and tropical waterfalls.

People enjoying the property will surely spend several wonderful moments at either one of the two verandas, one on ocean side and the other facing the garden.

The very exclusive living quarters offer the artistic touch of masterly crafted stained glass, etched windows, natural stone tiling as well as African carvings made from mahogany.

In the building process,  the property was developed with the priority of  well-appointed elegance and comfort only a stones throw from the legendary silky sands of Kailua Beach. The destination is now known as one of the best beaches worldwide and the top presidential vacation choice.

For Obama, this represents a homecoming since he was born in Honolulu in 1961.

He also was schooled only 20 minutes from Kailua, at the Punahou Academy. As a youngster, Obama would often visit Kailua Beach and his grandfather to enjoy the cool waters in the vicinity of Mount Olomana.
