British passenger carrier Bmi has announced details about new flights being launched out of London’s Heathrow Airport to Vienna this year.

The route will make its debut on March 28 and will be operated with the cooperation of Austrian Airlines.

Customers of bmi will have the choice in five daily flights between the largest airport in Britain and Vienna, and will thus become the most proficient airline on the route.

The route is part of the carrier’s re-launch of its London Heathrow services, which are scheduled to be carried out on January 27 and its domestic network will feature the introduction of a single economy cabin.

Passengers who require an enhanced service may reserve flexible economy fares, which will provide a guaranteed seat at the front of the plane, give access to business lounges at both airports served by the route as well as other amenities.

Bmi managing director Dominic Paul said the commercial carrier has upgraded their services in the United Kingdom and Ireland in response to passenger feedback and to follow the new trends experienced in a changing marketplace.

Mr Paul said that bmi is committed to provide the top airline service with the best prices adding that the carrier look forwards to welcoming customers on board its fleet offering a new flexible economy service.
