Bollywood Star Shahrukh Khan Says Heathrow Airport Security Circulated his Body Scanner Photo
Abi BrayIt now seems that the owners of Heathrow Airport have disputed the claim by Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan that his naked image was printed and then circulated by body scanner operators. The owners of the airport went on to say that the claims by the “My Name is Khan” star are completely incorrect.
Shahrukh Khan, the 44-year-old pin up model, said that female security staff at the London airport had printed his naked image that was captured by the newly installed body scanner. He went on to say that he even autographed the picture. Right now it is still unclear if this comment was intended as a joke.
This star’s claims have been hitting the internet hard lately due to the fact that his latest film, My Name is Khan, is about racial profiling of Muslims at airports after the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. A report last August said that he was detained for questioning at Newark Liberty Airport near New York City, and it sparked outrage in India.
When appearing on the BBC chat show, Khan went on to talk of his experiences with the new body scanners that have been introduced at Heathrow Airport due to the orders of the UK government. He said that he is always stopped by security because of his name. He said that he thinks it’s okay that the western world is a bit worried, paranoid and touchy.
He went on to say that the new machines, the body scanners, at the airport can be kind of embarrassing if the person is not well endowed in certain areas. When you walk in front of the machine everything is outlined, the entire body.
