First Indonesian Holiday Inn to Open in Bali
Helen YoungInterContinental Hotels, the owner of the Holiday Inn brand, has announced that they will be opening a Holiday Inn during March in Bali, Indonesia. This is going to be the first hotel of the brand to open in the country. The resort is the only one in the area to have direct access to the beach, and it will provide guests with idyllic, modern, relaxing, and affordable accommodations.
Named after the Balinese God of the Ocean, the new Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali will be developed on 3 hectares of land and will have 195 guest rooms. The property will have a meeting room of 400 square meters that is capable of holding 300 delegates. It will also feature many restaurants, a fitness center, and the Tea Tree Spa. For couples and families both, the resort is located in an enclave, is a short walk to the entertainment and shopping area of Kuta, and is only 10 minutes away from the airport by car. The hotel is also only one hour from Ubud, the artistic center of Bali, and only 30 minutes away from Denpasar, the capital city of Bali.
Stéphane Varoquier, the General Manager of the hotel, said that they are raising the bar of the next generation of the brand. A new generation of self-confident guests are pressing the boundaries, he continued, and this resort, with its amenities, is going to meet all of their needs. Varoquier also added that they provide an environment that is relaxing with modern and affordable facilities.
