No Bankruptcy For Japan Airlines

Japan’s ministry of transportation confirmed Sunday that the struggling Japan Airlines, which is also Asia’s largest airline, will not be forced into bankruptcy.
Land, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Seiji Maehara said during a TV Asahi talk show that the government of Japan will not crush and liquidate JAL. He added that such a thing is impossible.

Airline ticketing companies to raise funds for AIDS

When buying their tickets, passengers travelling on commercial airlines will soon be able to donate $2, or more if they wish, to contribute to the fight against AIDS in developing countries.
