Nearest Airport: Nice (25 minutes away by car) Details: This delightful, fully air-conditioned, one-bedroom apartment is located within a 10-minute walk from the Croisette and the convention center (Palais des Congres). It is on the ground floor. The apartment is composed of a large living room opening onto a private garden, a large communal swimming pool, one bedroom, one bathroom, independent toilet, TV, and DVD player. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with electric oven, large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The living room has opening doors onto the garden adjacent to the swimming pool and the communal gardens. The apartment has its own private parking place in front of the building. There is a regular bus service from outside the door to the main Cannes railway station, to the bus terminus where the airport bus stops, and to La Croisette. The shops are just a few minutes walk away. If you do not have a car, and do not want to walk, a bus runs from outside the main gates of the apartment block on the Avenue Lattre de Tassigny, straight down to the beach and into the center of town. TRANSPORTATION - * Nearest Airport - Nice (35 kilometers); time is one hour * Nearest Beach - Cannes (one and two-tenths kilometers); time is five minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot * Cannes is a major train terminus in France. The trains leave for Nice every ten minutes in the morning, then throughout the day every 15 minutes to half hour. The train ride from Cannes to Nice is 30-to-45 minutes depending on if you take a commuter train or not. From Cannes you can travel by train to Aix en Provence, Marsaille, Nice, Monaco, Italy, virtually all of France, and Europe. * The train station is about a ten-to-15-minute walk from our apartment. DEPOSIT INFORMATION - A security deposit of EURO 800 is required, to cover possible breakages, replacements, and repairs. This security deposit is payable three weeks before arrival, and will be refunded in full, less the cost of any damage, repairs, or breakages. PAYMENT METHODS - We ACCEPT ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS - and can accept them by telephone, fax, or email. All credit card transactions are subject to a 3 percent surcharge. Alternatively payments can be made by banker's draft, or bank WIRE transfer (SWIFT) in Sterling Pounds, US Dollars or Euros. RENTAL TERMS - Rentals normally run Saturday to Saturday, although alternative days are often available on request - email for particulars. Arrival times to the property are between 16:00 - 19:00 hours. Three weeks booking only for Cannes Film Festival - May 14th to May 25th. EXTRA CHARGES - There is a final clean charge of EURO 90, and a laundry linen hire charge of EURO 30 per person per week. Our local property manager meet all clients upon arrival and carry out an check-out inspection upon departure, for which the charge is EURO 60.00. Additional cleaning and maid service is available on request and is charged at EURO 8 per hour. All extra charges are payable at the time the final balance is due.
