An early nineteenth century farmhouse in the quiet seclusion of its own grounds, overlooking the superb scenery of the Tiber valley. The recently restored farmhouse has now been converted into two fully-equipped holiday apartments, that still retain their original architecture and style of furnishings. All the rooms (including bathroom and kitchen) have panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, which make them ideal for a restful and relaxing break. Just ten minutes walk from the picturesque village of Giove with its medieval castle and centre, "Verdealloggio" is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding areas (northern Lazio and southern Umbria and Tuscany) of historic and wildlife interest. "Verdealloggio" is easily reached both by rail and rood and is ideal for day trips to Rome, Viterbo, Orvieto, Florence, Perugia, Todi and Assisi, with locally available activities such as horse-riding, fishing, bird- watching, trips to archaeological sites, hot springs and the fossil forest.  In Giove there is a full calendar of local folk events, especially in the summer months. "Verdealloggio" also offeres residential courses: water-colours, sketching and eurythmy.
