Everyone who has stayed in our cottage has absolutely loved it! A six minute walk to the magnificent Bay, with its gorgeous views of Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The cottage is in the best part of San Francisco, Pacific Heights, just a block from all the cafes, boutiques and restaurants of Union Street yet secluded and quiet in a lovely garden setting. Totally remodeled and beautifully decorated with designer fabrics and furniture. The entire cottage is light and airy, yet very cozy. The fully-equipped kitchen has a very large fridge, a Wolf range (cooker), espresso/coffee maker and dish washer, as well as every other kitchen utensils/appliance that you could need The very pretty main bedroom has a California king-size bed. The second delightful bedroom, with a queen size bed, has French doors that open onto a sunny, private patio with breakfast table, sun lounger and plants. Fruit bowl, fresh flowers, tea, coffee, milk, juice, eggs, bacon, high end toiletries, wood for the woodburning stove (there is also central heating) and dishwasher soap and other cleaning stuff for you on arrival. Duvets, fluffy towels and robes are provided. Free Wi-Fi; i-phone/i-pod charger; free local calls; free use of washer/drier and soap products; possible bike/stroller (push chair)/luggage storage in garage. 100 yards from the cottage there is a high quality deli/convenience store. and a more general convenience store at abut 150 yards There is a small and very pretty park with lawns, trees, flowers and benches just across the street. There is a beautiful Heritage library just yards from the cottage. Cafes, shops, restaurants, hairdresser, manicurists, banks, cinema are all within 2 minutes' walk, yet we are in a tree-lined residential street. There are 3 other lively shopping/restaurants neighborhoods within easy walking distance. We are a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to lovely beaches and many other San Francisco sights and attractions. Bus service is just one black away. A ten minute bus ride takes you to Union Square with its many department stores (Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms. An incredible location for a visit to this wonderful city.
