Casa de Parreira is an attractive Portugeuse house together with a studio cottage in the grounds. In all it is able to sleep up to 10 persons and lends itself to large families, groups or small parties wanting lots of space. The property is situated close to the small village of Varjota. The property was tastefully built seven years ago on the site of an old farmhouse. The studio cottage was very tastefully renovated at the same time and was formerly a farm building. The house is constructed 'upside down' to take advantage of the extensive views towards the coast and inland to the hinterland. The large entrance hall leads to a master king sized bedroom with en-suite and a twin bedroom & bathroom. Upstairs there is a large openplan lounge (with a traditional log fire place)and dining area leading through to a spacoius well equipped kitchen. French windows lead onto the balcony terrace overlooking the pool and distant hill views. A third twin bedroom is located on the first floor providing either a king sized double or two twin singles. The studio cottage consists of a living and kitchen area, a twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, and an attractive wooden open stairs leading to a mezzanine sleeping area with double bed. Views from the cottage windows extend on to the garden and the distant Algarve hills to the north of Loule. The house and garden are secure within a fenced and walled garden, making it ideal for young families. In addition, the swimming pool and patio area is also separately fenced off to ensure safety and peace of mind for families with small children. Childrens toys and games are available if required. Garden furniture is provided with sun beds, loungers and tables etc. Parts of the garden are within almond and olive trees and there is also a shaded terrace to provide shade and protection from the strong sunlight, when required. The protected garden provides an ideal location for enjoying wintersun, with lovely sunny areas perfumed with the scent of Freesias, Orange blossom and Jasmine etc. (January through to April) Garden lights provide an ideal setting for summer evenings eating and relaxing alfresco either in the garden or on the balcony terrace. A BBQ is available. A garage and parking area are located outside the walled garden with sensor lighting. A solar heating panel provides plenty of free hot water on those not to be forgotten, sunny Algarve holidays. The property is furnished to a very high standard, making it more than just a typical holiday rental villa. There is a television and satalite dish providing UK news & sport channels. A telephone can be made available to enable laptop pc's to be connected.
