Bear Shadow Cottage is a 2 story waterfront log home nestled on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped yet rustic Maine woodlands with over 200 feet of frontage on Sebec Lake. While vacationing in this sportsmans paradise, you will be surrounded by all the comforts of home in this luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. We provide a fully equipped kitchen with built in Jenn-aire grill for those rainy days, a dinning room that seats 6, plus a breakfast bar for 2. A large open and spacious living room with 2 large glass sliding doors and 2 large picture windows at each end of the cottage to show off all the great views of the lake and hillside. For those who like to snuggle up and read a good book or just spend some quiet time we have a large wall to wall glassed enclosed porch. The master bedroom has a king size bed and large closet, the upper loft has 2 fullsize beds and 2 small closets. There is also 1 twin and 1 fullsize bed on the enclosed porch with privacy curtains. For your convenience we do supply the bed linens. However, we do ask that you supply your own paper products and towels. How about grilling out on the sunny side of the cottage on the east side of the lake, on a private 12x14 deck with family and friends, and just sitback, eat, catch some rays and just enjoy the sounds, views and call of the loon and just enjoy the tranquillity as it serenades you. On the cooler side of the cottage on the west we have a small patio nestled under the trees with a great breeze and views of the lake and mountainside. Our outdoor ammenities include sitting by the fire-pit searing a couple of juicy steaks on an open fire or just toast up some marshmellows and smores for the kids, both young and old, play a game of horseshoes, go for a swim or just sit back and relax on the gazebo and enjoy the activities and breathtaking views. There also is a boat ramp near-by for your convenience. These are just a few of the easy times to enjoy here.
